Concept

Designing for the hospitality industry, I examined boutique hotels along the SoCal coast. With a self-specefied client in mind (La Valencia Hotel in La Jolla, CA) I took inspiration from their coral exterior. The color palette reflects the vibrant sands and deep seas in the surrounding environment.

Sketchbook

My sketchbook is my playground for ideas. Here, I utilized watercolor + ink to draft organic forms for digital manipulation. In the background, I researched Mediterranean and Moroccan textiles for timeless design inspiration.
